Melissa is an international author and illustrator of 3 self-help books and 5 children's books--Surviving Reality,
Empower Your Soul, and Get the Vibe!, Splatter and Friends children's book series, and Jake and The Fly!
For over 20 years, Melissa has consulted thousands of people from corporate CEO’s, marketing executives, TV
anchors, international athletes, and housewives. Her success as a consultant and speaker, along with over 20
years as a professional business woman working for Fortune 100 company’s (Johnson & Johnson, AT&T, and
IBM) focused in the fields of training, marketing, sales, strategic planning, and project management, allows her to
provide coaching to individuals and professionals.
Melissa also has over 20 years speaking and conducting workshops nationally and internationally sharing her
business, parenting, and artistic knowledge with hundreds of people at a time. Melissa has been featured on radio
and television. She has an undergraduate degree in finance from Northeastern University Boston, MA (summa cum
laude), and a graduate degree in marketing from Loyola University Chicago, IL (summa cum laude). In addition,
Melissa has achieved Project Management certification, Management certification, Sales Training Manager
certification, Miller Heiman Account Management certification, HTML certification, Hypnotherapy certification, and
Reiki Master certification.
Melissa's Passion:
In Fall 2008, Melissa relocated from Chicago to Charlotte, NC with her husband and three children. Melissa spends
her personal time coaching soccer and baseball, writing children’s books, painting, playing guitar, and coming up
with fun art projects for she and her kids. Her greatest accomplishment is her children. They are the ones who
inspire her to go after her dreams and to make a positive difference in the world.










Meet Melissa
Melissa Moraja, Founder and Owner of Melissa Productions, Inc., is a
multifaceted, inspirational business woman and creative producer, authoring
and illustrating five children's books and three self-help books (Splatter and
Friends children's book series, Jake and The Fly, Surviving Reality, Empower
Your Soul, and Get the Vibe). She has written articles (Color and Its Affect), been
interviewed on television (PBS-discussing How to Raise Creative Children and
promoting Splatter and Friends children’s books), spoken in front of hundreds of
people (Southern Women’s Show), and successfully achieved two degrees
(undergraduate degree in finance and graduate degree in marketing).
Melissa believes in family and raising children in a creative, loving, and
inspirational environment. She herself has three young children (8 year old boy
and 7 year old boy/girl twins) with a fourth on the way that have truly helped her
continue seeing the world through a child’s eyes—pure creative imagination! In
2007, Melissa made a decision to leave her successful career at IBM to become
a full-time mom and pursue her passion as a author, speaker, and consultant.
